Join us on a Bat Cruise with Montana WILD!

The Gates of the Mountains is home to the largest population of bats in Montana. In the evening the bats come out of their crevice roosts to forage on insects. There will be wildlife biologists from Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks on the Bat Cruise to talk about the bats. The boat will travel to the middle of the upper canyon, shut off the motor and watch the out-migration. Bring flashlights to light up the bats on their way out of the canyon.
The Bat Cruise with Montana WILD depart at 8:30 p.m.on Aug. 15, 21, 22, and 23. The tour fare is $10.
