The Montana History Foundation is leading a series of guided experiences through Helena’s historical downtown in order to connect residents and visitors with the city’s rich heritage. Take a guided 2 mile hike up Mt. Helena and learn about the colorful characters that helped shape the town. Wander the remnants of Helena’s south side, learning about the communities of miners, bars and brothels that once flourished there.

Tour days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They only last until Labor Day Weekend. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to experience Helena’s history like never before! Tickets can be purchased online at the following website: History Hikes & Walks

While exploring Helena’s History Hikes, don’t forget to stop downtown and visit us at Birds & Beasleys! Birds & Beasleys is a unique art gallery and gift shop located in Downtown Helena, Montana. You’ll find original works of art by Montana artists. Our  Summer hours are Monday – Saturday, 9:30 am – 6:00 pm. Sunday 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Delivery and curbside pick up are available.
