Fall for Birds! We all love the spirit of the seasons. Wind and weather ebbs and flows, bringing birds into our natural areas, and if we’re lucky, our backyards!
The best thing we can do for birds is pass along to others how truly crucial they are to our well-being. Share an avian field guide with an interested friend or take a child birding who’s not had the chance to see birds through binoculars before! Sometimes it’s the sight of a bird that can make a lasting impression; sometimes it’s a sound, like a crane calling–that is so unique you simply cannot un-hear it. Or maybe it’s the feeling of excitement upon discovering a new bird in a place you’ve never been before.
