Unique Bird Houses and FeedersWe would like to share some unique bird houses and feeders made by inmates at the Montana Correctional Institute! They use materials that have been forgotten to create something new and beautiful. Come in and see the wide selection of affordable reclaimed license plates we have to offer. We have different sizes, shapes, and colors available in the store. They are vibrant and would add personality to your home while providing functionality and safety to your feathered friends. Our favorite part is the hands that prepare these special them. Continue reading below to learn more about the program and the many benefits it produces.

Montana Correctional Institute provides vocational education, on-the-job training, and work experience in the industry. While working in the program, inmates can develop marketable job skills, a strong work ethic, and build self-esteem. Often for the first time, they can have pride in their accomplishments and especially in their artwork. In addition, inmates are able to earn wages to repay victim restitution and court-ordered fines. They can even save up for their release back into society. It teaches them responsibility while offering a positive outlet. We think this is a wonderful opportunity and can’t wait to share with our customers their hand made work!

Stop in to check out these new unique bird houses and feeders and tell us what you think! See you in soon!
